disclaimer: it's complicated.  then again, aren't we all?

The year of 2013 was one for the record books.  Looking back, a lifetime of experiences were packed into 365 days that went by in a blink.  Separation and divorce?  Check.  Graduating from a masters program and resignation from corporate America in the same week?  Yessiiree!  Beginning a new relationship ending in the merger of two households and four girls all under the age of eleven?  Jackpot!

 

While not normally one for airing dirty laundry (I would come across absolutely insane if the details were shared in their entirety), I now sit on the other side of  my 2013 chaos happier and more content than ever.  If there's one thing I've learned, it's that living an authentic life doing what you love and surrounding yourself with people who make you better, is the only way to live.  

 

Thus, the birth of Stationary Circus ... a name reflective of a crazy life that is still definitely crazy, but now settled in all its chaos and absolutely wonderful.  I am a mom, a partner, and a professional who abandoned everything I was supposed to do and be for a life of no regrets.  I have always surrounded myself in design ... building this business is the last link in the chain of complete and honest authentic living.

 

I love designing interiors that embody the essence of a person.  Creating spaces that are inviting, lovely and affordable. A home that you never want to leave and also one that people are drawn to.  Stationary Circus is anything but practical, predictable and expected.  Instead, it's the crossroads of where fun begins and wonderful spaces begin to take shape.
